My MOGA™ Mom & Baby Yoga classes offer that perfect combination of fitness, mind-body-babe connection, and empowerment, for a smooth transition into motherhood. This is done through intention, conscious breath, sounds, songs and movements (that baby’s love). Sensory Yoga is a key part of MOGA’s Mom & Baby Yoga classes and training (suitable for newborns to pre-crawlers). Being present and engaging with baby is an important tool for baby’s emotional and brain development, and it helps mom’s feel connected and present with their babies. I offer years of experience teaching pre/postnatal yoga, weaving in tips of wisdom so my students can feel empowered, let anxiety go, and fill up their mama cups! This includes healing and strengthening the core safely. I hope you can help your students tap into the Goddess within and learn your own strengths as an instructor, as you guide this extremely powerful demographic. I truly believe it is mothers who will change our planet in a positive way.

First and foremost, I am a mother. I have learned countless things about the female body during and after pregnancy, through my own personal experiences. This is what has driven my passion for sharing core and pelvic floor information from a physiotherapist point of view. New moms make up a significant percentage of my caseload, where the focus is on learning to connect with your pelvic floor and reminding it how to work as a teammate to your other deep core muscles. I frequently blend my techniques with yoga because the breath is a great way to connect with your ever-important core system.

I am a supporter and mentor of mothers. I support women continuously through childbirth and mentally/emotionally in the early weeks after birth. As a young girl, I regularly petitioned older relatives for wisdom on life, birth and relationships. I craved their knowledge and guidance. As I now move through my 40’s, I seek to be the woman I once sought. I am passionate about imparting wisdom when its desired, in the absence of judgement, and when it inspires. When we as mothers connect to our soul, and our little ones, the real magic and world change begins. My own 4 children, my yoga practice and other mothers, continue to inspire me on a day to day basis.
